Authorized board members can mark WCLL fields as open or closed directly from Slack using the /weather command. The change takes effect immediately on both the fields website and in Slack.
Who Can Use These Commands
Only designated admin users can open or close fields. If you try to run one of these commands and see a “not authorized” message, contact a board member listed below.

The reason is optional but recommended so coaches and parents know why fields are closed.

Slack will confirm with a message like:
🔴 Fields are now closed. Updated 2/10/2026. Reason: rain
